    About us

    Beginning commercially in 1986 in Holland, the founder and CEO, Fotis Heliou Le Heux of Dutch-Greek parentage, born in Greece & raised in Holland, began importing home & garden products and exporting bulk quantities of pottery from traditional artisans worldwide.

    About us

    In 2001 the Company bought an industrial facility a few hundred meters from the ancient ruins of the palace of Agamemnon, in Mycenae, Greece; the birth place of ceramics 6,000 years ago. The Company invested millions in equipment, facilities, molds, kilns, storage & packing areas, and created the beginnings of today’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for its unequalled terracotta products & know-how.

    Terraneo planters come with a 10-year guarantee and are certified to be frost-resistant up to -50º Celsius. This gives the Company a unique & unassailable competitive advantage in Northern Europe, North America and in climates with high swifts in temperatures, where other terracotta planters deteriorate, dissolve or break in the winter.
